day on the lake

We spent the day out at Lake Sara today. We spent the morning out on the boat. It wasn't too hot and it was overcast, so we didn't have to worry about Jack getting fried to a crisp. He did pretty well in his life vest considering he's not quite long enough to crawl in it yet and when he fell asleep he wasn't able to put his head down. By 11:00 or so he'd had enough of the vest, so we pulled the boat out of the water and drove over to the park. It didn't have any baby swings, but we managed to occupy him with the tire swing, slide and tetter-totter. We took the boat back home and came back to Boat Dockers for lunch. It was a nice way to start off the holiday weekend.
