At 22 months Jack:
ate pork chops.
loves to dip his food in ranch dressing, french dressing, ketchup, water, you name it.
when you say "ready, set" he'll say "dough (go)."
knows what a cow, cat, horse, bear, dog and sheep say.
loves to blow bubbles in water, whether it be in a cup with a straw or face down in his tiny pool.
pops bubbles with his mouth and sword. We joke that it's our version of the Wii.
loves to color with his crayons and Colorworks markers.
says "bump, bump" whenever we go over railroads tracks, back out of the driveway or just go over a bumpy section in the road.

had his first ER visit. Turns out he had Hand, Foot and Mouth disease.
within a 7 day period, feel and bit his lip, had a fever that turned into Hand Foot and Mouth Disease and got stung by a bee.
whines loudly when he doesn't get his way. He was having some pretty good tantrums, but once he got over being sick he's been better.
does a hilarious hand movement when dancing.
weighs 31 pounds.
will clap to Pat-A-Cake.
LOVES rice. Can't get enough of it. Eats it himself with a spoon. Noodles are right up there too.
throws things in the trash. He'll find the smallest speck of trash in the garage and gently place it in the trash bag Tim has hanging from the work bench.
says "vroom, vrooom" when he seeing a big truck or a motorcycle.
is very into Matchbox cars.
has started sleeping with a stuffed caterpillar. Jack got a caterpillar pillow/blanket for Christmas. He never really paid much attention to it, but Tim thought it might help Jack's stuffy nose if he had something on which to prop his head. He LOVES it! He doesn't want to read before naps or bedtime. Just put him in bed with his bug.
got his first haircut with the trimmers from Daddy.
says the following regularly: ummy, oh no, oh yeah, hi, hello, beep, bump, yeah, moo.
waves hello and goodbye by opening and closing his fingers just like Daddy.
waves to every car that drives by.
fell out of the boat while we were at Lake Sara. Cried a little bit, but took it like a champ. Impressive considering how cold the water was (about 60*.)
pats (and sometimes hits) my tummy. Poor Charlie is getting abused by his big brother even in the womb.
is such a good boy. I am really trying to soak up these last few days with him before Charlie comes.

He's such a cutie pie! I can't believe all he's been through in the past few weeks. What a champ! Glad you're taking the time to enjoy him in these last few days before baby Charlie arrives. Much love to you & your family, Heather!
SUCH a doll!!! Cherish these last moments, but know that soon - he will have a new BEST friend!!!
