Jack at 2 years 1 month:

says bubbles and can kind of blow them. He tends to put his mouth on the wand and really only blows good bubbles with the help of the fan.

loves to pull around the large matchbox car holder from Grandma and Grandpa Hartman.

bounces everywhere and loves to hop over cracks and lines on the ground.

will not stop opening the bread drawer. Of course this is the one drawer that we cannot get to lock. He especially likes to get the BBQ chips out of the drawer.

is very good at drinking water from a bottle. He's also good at dumping the water on the garage floor and on his little brother. He can also unscrew the lid if it is even the tiniest bit loose.

can't get enough of Tim's salsa and he wants to dip the chip in himself, thank you very much!

wants his shirt taken off not too long after we go outside to play. Then he'll stand in front of the fan and laugh and say "oooooh."

really liked the Kix cereal that came in his birthday party snack mix.

got another much needed haircut.

missed his Dadda very much while he was gone for a week.

tries to climb one of the shelf posts in the garage. Not sure why.

is wearing 2T pants and shirts.

sleeps from 8p to 8a most nights and takes a nap from 1p to 3/4p in the afternoon. Yes, I know how lucky I am!

has peed on the potty a few times before his bath. He has peed more times in the bathtub though!

seems to always end up with wet shorts. Either from pouring water on himself or squatting in the baby pool in the garage.

can open the fridge if you loop a towel over the handle. We no longer keep our kitchen towel on the fridge handle.

has learned to kiss his boo boos to make them better. So cute to see him give his hand or knee a smacker when he gets hurt!

got a nice blood blister on his foot after dropping a Mag-Lite flashlight on his foot. We no longer keep the flashlight on the floor by the bed.

is pretty good at throwing and catching a ball.

can unlock and open the front and back doors. We installed a lock on the front door, but the one I got for the back doesn't work. I need to get another cover for the handle like the one we have on the basement door.

thinks he is the coolest thing ever when he wears his sunglasses.

is saying so many more things. Reen (rain,) mooooon (moon,) wack, wack (quack, quack for duck,) wooo wooo (bird,) cooood (cold,) hee (teeth,) hee (pee,) booon (balloon,) momma, dadda, daddy, dadda and daddy are also used when pointing out trucks, boat (which is one of the few things he calls by the name rather than the noise it makes, go figure!)

cracks me up when he has me say the names of all the sea animals on his mobile. When I get to seahorse he always says "neigh, neigh!"

has his fair share of two year old meltdowns. They involve yelling, throwing things, hitting, tears and/or pouting.

does a great job finding and pointing out all the cows and horses along the road.

is a very good brother despite the occasional dousing of water he gives Charlie.
