At 11 months, Charlie:
got his 2nd tooth.
sleeps curled up on his side and reaches up when you lay him down to grab his blanket so he can chew on it.
had a double ear infection and the first round of child antibiotics we've had in this family.
top two teeth are coming in.
started scooting on his bottom to get around.
started trying to pull himself up.
is clapping.
does NOT like to have things taken away from him and throws a major fit when it happens.
is holding his bottle - finally.
goes from sitting up back down to his tummy.
went from a pretty much immobile baby to a crawling, pulling himself up, standing little boy in the matter of a week.
is eating better. It can still be a struggle, but we're getting there. I just keep trying and try not to get too frustrated by all the food we are throwing away.
has the greatest little belly laugh.
loves to watch his brother run around like a crazy man.
can be quite the chatterbox.
uses his little index finger to rotate the tires on just about anything. He hunches over the little car and gets so serious making the little tire go around.
gets up 1-2 times a night.
is in 12 month clothes, with the pants being a little big and size 4 Luvs diapers.
gets 4-5 bottles a day and whatever baby food we can pry into him.
takes 2 naps daily. One not too long after he wakes up in the morning and another at 1:00.
goes stiff as a board when you try to sit him down on the floor or in the high chair if he doesn't want to be put down. I swear we're going to break him in half one of these times.
is super-ticklish and loves it when you "drive" a car up and down his back and over his head.
loves watching Jack's movies. He's a big fan of Cars and Ice Age.
actually likes to have his nose sucked clean with the "blue ball thing." During the double ear infection this was a very good thing.
does NOT like to take a bath. Next time I will try it with the tub already full. I think the loud water filling up the tub scares him. Until then, he still showers with Daddy.
is growing up way too quickly, but it's a blessing to watch it all happening!

look at those eyelashes!

I took his toy away and he DID.NOT.LIKE.IT!
